Accepting New Patients
Supporting patients through every stage of life.
One trusted medical practice. A growing range of healthcare services.
Sometimes a GP consultation is all you need.
Sometimes your doctor may recommend additional healthcare services to help investigate your symptoms, support your recovery or provide more comprehensive care. If your condition requires more immediate attention than a routine GP appointment, your doctor may also recommend our onsite Urgent Care service where appropriate.
Where appropriate, your GP can help coordinate access to services available within Health Hub Springfield Lakes, including Urgent Care, the Infusion Clinic, Women’s Health, the Skin Clinic, diagnostic imaging, pathology and specialist referrals.
These additional services are separate from your GP consultation and may attract private fees or out-of-pocket costs. If further services are recommended, your doctor or the relevant service team can explain any applicable fees before you proceed.
Our goal is always the same—to help you receive the right care at the right time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, Health Hub Springfield Lakes welcomes new General Practice patients. You can book an appointment online through HotDoc or contact our reception team for assistance.
Do you bulk bill?
Health Hub operates a mixed-billing model. Private fees generally apply. Some doctors may offer bulk billing for selected consultations or in particular circumstances. Please enquire with your doctor or our reception team about whether bulk billing may be available for your appointment. Unless bulk billing has been specifically confirmed, patients should expect a private consultation fee to apply.
What does mixed billing mean?
Mixed billing means that some consultations are privately billed while others may be bulk billed. The billing arrangement can vary depending on the doctor, consultation type and individual circumstances. Where a private fee applies, eligible patients may receive a Medicare rebate.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Appointments are recommended so we can match you with an available GP and the appropriate consultation type.
Can I request a specific doctor?
Where availability allows, you may request a particular GP when booking. Appointment availability may vary between doctors.
How long are appointments?
Appointment length depends on the type and complexity of your consultation. If you have several concerns to discuss, please let the team know when booking so an appropriate appointment can be arranged.
Can I obtain repeat prescriptions?
Repeat prescriptions may be provided following an appropriate GP consultation and clinical assessment.
Can you provide specialist referrals?
Yes. Where clinically appropriate, your GP can provide referrals to specialists and other healthcare services.
What should I bring?
Please bring your Medicare card, any relevant medical information, a current medication list if applicable, and any results or correspondence relevant to your appointment.
What if I need additional tests or treatment?
Your GP may recommend further investigations, procedures or other Health Hub services where appropriate. These are separate services and may attract additional fees. Any relevant costs or Medicare rebates should be explained before you proceed.
